You Lost Relevance in the Industry, and I Won’t Take Your Advice – Nandor Love to Bebe Cool
The Ugandan music scene is buzzing after an exchange between rising artist Nandor Love and veteran musician Bebe Cool. Known for her energetic performances and the viral hit “Kinawolovu,” Nandor Love found herself at the center of a debate on artistry and industry relevance.
Bebe Cool recently included Nandor Love’s “Kinawolovu” in his list of notable songs. While applauding her work, he also offered some constructive criticism, suggesting she improve her dance moves to better align with the industry’s evolving standards.
However, Nandor Love wasn’t too pleased with the advice. In a bold response, she dismissed Bebe Cool’s comments, attributing his perspective to generational differences. She hinted that Bebe Cool, while still respected for his legacy, may no longer understand the pulse of today’s music trends. “Bebe Cool is from a different era. Times have changed, and so have audience expectations. His advice might have worked in the past, but it doesn’t resonate with this generation,” Nandor reportedly said. She further claimed that Bebe Cool had “lost relevance in the industry,” positioning herself as part of a new wave of artists redefining the Ugandan music scene.
